                       for PartitionMagic

This disk contains the necessary files to boot your computer and run PQMAGIC
(PartitionMagic 4.0 DOS GUI version).   This disk will be useful in the
following situations:

-If you have hidden the hard disk partition where PartitionMagic is installed
and need to get back into PartitionMagic to unhide the partition.

-If you have accidently converted a partition to FAT32 when your operating
system does not support FAT32 and now your computer will not boot.  (Use
the PartitionMagic Rescue Diskette to convert the partition back to FAT.)

-If you only have Windows NT 3.51 on your computer, and need to manipulate 
the NT Boot Partition (the one with the Windows directory).

-If other occasions arise when you do not have access to PartitionMagic on
the CD or hard drive.


        
To use the PartitionMagic Rescue Diskette:
------------------------------------------

1. Boot your computer using the PartitionMagic Rescue Diskette 

2. Run PQMAGIC

Although PQMAGIC is a DOS program, it is a full GUI application and 
has the same functionality as PartitionMagic for Windows 95 or Windows NT.
The interface is identical to the Win32 versions.

If you need help, insert the Help diskette and then choose Help from
the PQMAGIC menu.
